The secret story of Juan Villalonga: Aznar's 'friend' who is getting married for the fourth time
The former CEO of Telefónica has joined Olga Suhodolskaia after breaking up with Vanessa Von Zitzewitz, a friend of Corinna Larsen
Juan Villalonga (Madrid, 1953) has been, for several decades, one of the main figures in Spanish social and political life. The former president of Telefónica and 'friend' of José María Aznar was an ally of Corinna Larsen and has divorced three times.
Now new details of his current life and his new fiancée have emerged. Everything points to her becoming his fourth wife after he left the German photographer Vanessa von Zitzewitz a few months ago.
She is the Moldovan Olga Suhodoliscaia, a former dancer trained in Ukraine and a top-level event organizer. As reported by the newspaper El Mundo, it was during the inauguration ceremony of Donald Trump as President of the USA when Villalonga introduced Olga to society as his partner and future wife.

The one who was also a friend of Corinna Larsen during his stay in the United Kingdom now lives in the North American country. Specifically, the presence of the former CEO of Telefónica is located in Washington. The businessman has joined the team of Paul Manafort, Trump's campaign director in 2016. It was in January 2025 when Villalonga's arrival in the USA was released.
His new partner Olga Suhodoliscaia is a former saleswoman for a super top-level yacht company called Marquis Yachts, based in Monaco. Previously she was married to the Italian Paolo Bencivenni. She owns several event and travel companies. She also spends time in Mallorca, a place Juan Villalonga also likes to frequent.
What has surprised all the friends of the former CEO of Telefónica the most is the 'great resemblance' of Olga to Corinna Larsen. Precisely, a few months ago he separated from Vanessa von Zitzewitz, who was the close friend of the German aristocrat linked to Juan Carlos I.
Juan Villalonga, his third marriage and Corinna Larsen
It was in May 2024 when the divorce between Villalonga and the German baroness Vanessa von Zitzewitz, 55 years old, was announced. The businessman and the baroness had been together since 2010 and had a son, Rodrigo. Specifically, they met in London and Villalonga left his previous wife, Adriana Abascal.
However, the most commented aspect in recent years of Villalonga's now ex-wife was her relationship with Corinna Larsen, a close friend of King Juan Carlos I.

In fact, Vanessa von Zitzewitz was responsible for photographing Corinna for the famous cover of the magazine ¡Hola! where the close friend of the Emeritus gave her version of the social scandal that arose due to her links with Juan Carlos.
The one who was a close friend of former Prime Minister José María Aznar had a three-way conversation with the controversial "close" ex-friend of Juan Carlos I and the former commissioner José Manuel Villarejo, another singular name that has been under the spotlight of controversy in our country for years.
In the mentioned conversation, recorded by Villarejo, the German commissioner expressed her fear that the king would use her as a front. A way of putting the patch before the wound, perhaps aware of what was to come. Meanwhile, the businessman Villalonga also made surprising revelations to the former commissioner.

"To me (the Emeritus King Juan Carlos I) he didn't know me at all, I only met him at two meetings, and when I go to lunch with him he says: 'It's just that I'm like this, she (Corinna) has me completely tied up'," the businessman Juan Villalonga recounted. In those conversations, the businessman also mentioned the supposed land located in Morocco that the alluded monarch gave to Corinna: "Yes, of course, she has kept that land, the one in Marrakech."
Many were surprised by this connection between Corinna Larsen and Juan Villalonga. Paradoxically, the link between them is precisely the woman Villalonga has just divorced, the German photographer Vanessa Von Zitzewitz, who, like the close friend of King Juan Carlos I, is very involved in Qatari circles.
Adriana Abascal and Villalonga's exile after leaving Telefónica
At the beginning of this year, another ex-wife of Villalonga made headlines. Adriana Abascal (Mexico, 1970) started 2025 with her heart occupied by Prince Emanuel Filiberto of Savoy.
Abascal and Villalonga met in 1997 at a dinner organized by Emilio Azcárraga, president of Televisa and then partner of the Mexican woman. At that time, Villalonga was already president of Telefónica.
With the businessman, Telefónica grew considerably, but it was accused of insider trading and questionable financial operations. In 1998, the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV) began investigating Villalonga for his involvement in futures trading operations carried out with insider information.
These activities, known as OTC (Over The Counter), caused quick capital gains for him and his close circle.

Finally, in July 2000 Villalonga resigned as president of Telefónica amid a scandal over the use of stock options valued at hundreds of millions of euros. Although his departure was accompanied by a generous severance package of 24 million euros, his reputation was severely affected. The accusations of corruption and mismanagement also closed doors for him in political and business circles.
That year Villalonga had already left his first marriage. In fact, after leaving Telefónica, Villalonga moved to the United States with Adriana Abascal. In Miami, he found a more favorable environment to rebuild his personal and professional life. He connected with personalities like Julio Iglesias and Antonio Banderas, and worked as an advisor for Univision and other international companies.
Finally, the story between Juan Villalonga and Adriana Abascal culminated on June 30, 2001. They both entered into a civil marriage in Los Angeles (California). The marriage established their residence in the United States. It was Adriana who introduced him to the American and European beautiful people.

The businessman returned to Europe and settled in London, where he expanded his business into the telecommunications sector in countries of the former Soviet Union.
He founded Emergent Telecom Ventures and acquired stakes in companies like PeterStar and MegaFon. Although these projects allowed him to remain active, he never regained the status of a key figure in Spain. The Villalonga-Abascal marriage broke up in 2009, but they had three children: Paulina, Diego, and Jimena.
His first wife and the connection with José María Aznar
Juan Villalonga's first wife was Concha Tallada, who at that time was close to Ana Botella. They had three children: Juan, Jaime, and Andrea.
Juan Villalonga Navarro was born on April 8, 1953, in Madrid, into a well-off family. His father, Juan Villalonga Monforte, and his mother, María Pilar Navarro, belonged to a privileged social environment, and his great-uncle Ignacio Villalonga was the founder of Banco Central.
Although he spent part of his childhood in Valencia, he studied at the exclusive school Nuestra Señora del Pilar. There he forged a lasting friendship with former Prime Minister José María Aznar, a future key figure in his life.
After graduating in Law and Economics at the University of Deusto, he completed a master's degree in Business Administration at the Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa (IESE) in Barcelona.
His professional career began at Banco Central in 1977, where he entered thanks to family contacts. Later, he worked for McKinsey and later for Banco Santander, gaining experience in the financial world. In the 90s he joined the business office of his friends José María Mas Millet and Miguel Blesa Parra, later appointed president of Caja Madrid.

In the late eighties, Villalonga held key positions in renowned companies like Fontir and Wallace Smith. However, his big break came in 1996, when he was appointed president of Telefónica following the electoral victory of the People's Party, led by his friend José María Aznar.
During his management, he led the privatization of the company and its transformation into a multimedia giant that included Vía Digital, Antena 3, and Onda Cero in its portfolio.
Villalonga even shared a vacation with Aznar in Oropesa del Mar (Castellón). It was in a development that he had shown to the Aznars. During his management at Telefónica, where he replaced the socialist Cándido Velázquez-Gaztelu, he first touched the sky and then the hell.
After the divorce of Villalonga and Concha Tallada, there was a distancing between Aznar and the businessman. The reason was that Ana Botella, Aznar's wife, sided with her close friend Concha Tallada. Additionally, after the CNMV investigations into what happened at Telefónica, Villalonga lost the trust of Aznar's government.
