I am Alejandra De La Llave. I was born in Madrid on September 22, 1996, and I began studying Journalism at the Rey Juan Carlos University in Fuenlabrada because, since I was little, I have always been an extroverted person. This is why I was drawn to the world of literature and communication. In fact, I was one of those who couldn’t stop watching our Queen Letizia presenting the news on Televisión Española. Since 2022, I have held the position of writer at ‘El Cierre Digital,’ specializing in culture, social chronicles, monarchy, and fashion.
For this reason, and in order to strengthen the newspaper’s audiovisual section as well as to highlight the stories of some of the most relevant personalities in cinema, journalism, and theater, I have hosted the interview podcast ‘La Llave del Cierre’ since 2023. Personalities such as actress Ana Turpin, journalist Jesús Álvarez, actor Juanjo Artero, and crime novelist Santiago Díaz have been guests. It’s no surprise, as one of my hobbies is enjoying art exhibitions, films and directors like Fernando Colomo, Benito Zambrano, Pedro Almodóvar, or Isabel Coixet, as well as a good book by authors like Francisco Umbral or Javier Aznar.
