Twist in the DANA case: They demand an investigation of Sánchez and charge the Delegate in Valencia
The former Valencian emergency secretary is 'unindicted' while they request an investigation into President Sánchez's actions
The DANA case may take a U-turn. The Liberum association has requested the Catarroja Court to "issue a notice to the Presidency of the Government of Spain, and to the National Security Council. The objective is for them to "certify whether President Pedro Sánchez convened this Council, so that this body could exercise its functions". With the focus of the investigations on the Valencian president Carlos Mazón, Liberum also refers to the actions of Sánchez's Government. The floods have left 228 fatalities. As a popular accusation, Liberum has requested that all communications, reports, and opinions between Sánchez and the National Security Council be provided. This request arises from the statements in court by the former Minister of Justice and Interior of the Generalitat Valenciana, Salomé Pradas.
