An expert on the royal family delivers Prince William's most feared news: 'Never...'

A well-known British royal family expert has left more than a few people speechless with the latest and unexpected news she has revealed about Prince William. "He has never been fond of it," she stated through a media outlet.

There is no doubt that Buckingham Palace remains the main emblem of the British royal family and one of the most well-known icons of the United Kingdom. However, although this building keeps its institutional function, it is no longer used as the family home of the monarchs.

As has emerged in recent days, the Prince and Princess of Wales plan to move to Forest Lodge at the end of this year. This property is located a very short distance from their current home, Adelaide Cottage.

"William is never going to move to Buckingham Palace," the royal family expert Ingrid Seward recently pointed out in statements to Hello!. "He has never been fond of it and has probably not spent much time there," she added.

Moreover, Seward took the opportunity to share with readers what Queen Elizabeth II's reaction was when she moved to the iconic palace:

Everything suggests that the decision by Prince William and his wife is directly related to raising their three children. According to Seward, living in Forest Lodge will allow them to keep a daily involvement in the education of George, Charlotte, and Louis.

"I think William will be a very involved father, as well as a monarch, which is quite difficult. I think he will achieve it by changing the way things are managed, including being more self-sufficient and not relying on the taxpayer.[...]He is quite visionary and can see that the monarchy has to change to survive," this royal family expert clarified.
