Buckingham Palace confirms the rumor about George, Prince William's son

After Prince William's latest decision, Buckingham Palace has confirmed the future of his son George

More than one person has been left speechless after Buckingham Palace confirmed a surprising and unexpected rumor related to George, Prince William's eldest son.

Just a few days ago, the news was confirmed that Kate Middleton and William are preparing what many have called their "new beginning." According to reports, the couple has chosen to change their place of residence.

This change of residence, it seems, is related to the firm decision they've made: when they ascend to the throne, they won't move to Buckingham Palace.

Everything suggests that Prince William and Kate Middleton want to break completely with the tradition that for centuries made this building the center of the British monarchy. So much so that now, their intention is to give a new direction to the way royalty lives.

This firm decision, as has already been confirmed by Buckingham itself, will also directly affect Prince George. When the young man takes over from his father, it's very likely that the palace will have been converted into a cultural space.

Buckingham Palace confirms that Prince George will never live there

Buckingham Palace, a place that for generations was the epicenter of the British monarchy, will cease to be the intimate setting of kings to become an institutional symbol.

Judging by the decision just made by Prince George's parents, Charles III will be the last monarch to live in these facilities. This way, little by little, this historic building will stop being a family home to become a museum that will welcome tourists and host state receptions.

Instead, Prince William and Kate Middleton have chosen Forest Lodge, a historic mansion located in Windsor Great Park. The property is currently surrounded by countryside and is discreetly set back.

This choice reflects their desire to have a quieter, more family-oriented space, far from the bustle of London. There, the Prince and Princess of Wales want to raise Charlotte, George, and Louis in a more natural environment.

According to reports, the move is planned for the end of this year, but it won't be a temporary step. A source close to Prince William and his wife confirmed to The Sun that both want this place to become their "forever home."

Forest Lodge, a palace valued at about $21 million, has eight bedrooms, six bathrooms, a tennis court, a ballroom, and spectacular windows. It's a spacious and luxurious residence, but far from the monumental character of Buckingham.

The most striking aspect of this news is that the renovation of these facilities won't be funded with public money, as they themselves will cover all the expenses out of their own pocket.

A very different future from Buckingham. Since 2017, the palace has been undergoing a colossal 10-year renovation, with an estimated cost of £369 million. The work is expected to be completed in 2027, with the reopening of its State Rooms to the public.
