A Buckingham Palace butler delivers news that blocks Prince Harry
A former Buckingham Palace worker questions the version that Prince Harry has given over the years
A former butler at Buckingham Palace has broken his silence to speak about one of the most controversial topics regarding the British Royal Family. He said that, without a doubt, he has left Prince Harry completely stunned.
There is no doubt that one of the things that caused Harry's split with the rest of the British Crown members was the publication of Spare. In this memoir, the youngest son of Charles III and Lady Di recounted some of the most controversial episodes within his family circle.

Among other things, Prince Harry revealed a brutal fight he had with his brother William. In addition, he had no qualms about confirming the tensions that, according to him, existed within his family, several of them related to Queen Camilla.
Now, Grant Harrold, a former butler to the monarch, has broken his silence to publicly contradict the Duke of Sussex's version. He has even stated that he doesn't remember any confrontation with the Queen during the time he worked at the Royal Household.
Grant Harrold, former butler at Buckingham Palace, puts Prince Harry in a tight spot
In his latest statements, Harrold has made it very clear that he didn't witness any awkward moment with Queen Camilla during his time at Buckingham Palace. He also emphasized that his relationship with her was always cordial.
This information has been expanded by the former butler in his new book, titled The Royal Butler: My Remarkable Life of Royal Service. This new publication will allow followers of the British royalty to get a close look at what his seven years of service were like.

In it, Harrold describes Charles as "very kind" and alert, a part of his personality that he had the opportunity to discover thanks to his time at Buckingham Palace.
In one of the anecdotes, he recounts how he showed up at Camilla's residence one night to deliver something she had requested. This excerpt was published by The Telegraph last Monday, August 18:
"There was no police protection or anything. I remember that once I arrived at night[...]She opened the upstairs window, looked down and said: 'Who's there?'. I replied: 'It's Grant!', and she said: 'Grant, what the hell are you doing here at this hour?'"

The former butler explains that, despite the hour, Camilla offered to serve him tea when it was almost ten o'clock at night. The gesture surprised him, as he didn't expect such hospitality at such an unusual time. For him, that scene reflects the naturalness of her manner.
In another excerpt from his book, Harrold speaks openly about the wedding of King Charles and Camilla, a ceremony that took place in London in April 2005. On that day, according to him, the current monarch was "happier than ever."
"At the end of the celebrations, Charles and Camilla took a direct flight to Birkhall.[...]We all went out to see them off and laughed when we saw that William and Harry had decorated their car with 'Just Married.' As they drove away through the arches, amid cheers, the boys ran after the car."

This account is completely different from the testimony found in the Duke of Sussex's memoir. In Spare, Prince Harry claims that both of them had "complex feelings" about Camilla joining the family. According to him, they asked their father not to marry her and to be content with keeping the relationship.
He also accused Camilla of deploying a strategy with the goal of becoming queen. He keeps that, after private meetings, she began to plan her path to the Crown with Charles's support.
Meanwhile, Harrold insists that the relationship between Camilla and Princes William and Harry was always good. He states that he never observed conflicts and that's why the Duke's statements surprise him so much. He explains that he doesn't understand how people have come to talk about internal division.
