Maximum happiness: the royal family has confirmed the news about Infanta Elena and it's important

The Royal Household has caused quite a stir by confirming important and happy news about Infanta Elena: Her desired return to the institutional agenda of the monarchy of our country.

Due to the controversies that have surrounded several members of the king's family over these years, both Felipe VI and Doña Letizia took a series of measures. Among them, they limited the Crown's representations to their daughters and their mother, Queen Sofía.

However, for about a year now, the relationship between the monarchs and Infantas Elena and Cristina has changed considerably. Proof of this is the latest public event presided over by the Duchess of Lugo.

This Thursday, June 5, the king's eldest sister presided over the 34th edition of the Children's and Youth Painting Contest for National Heritage School Centers. This cultural event was held at the Royal Palace of El Pardo.

This is an official event that Infanta Elena already led last year and, this year, Felipe and Letizia have trusted her with it again. With this gesture, they've revealed not only their reconciliation but also her return to the institutional agenda of the Spanish monarchy.

As is the case with many of the initiatives promoted by this well-known entity, this contest seeks to bring children and young people closer to the history and richness of the Royal Sites. The goal is to promote knowledge of heritage through an artistic and educational approach.

This year, the chosen theme revolved around the interiors and exteriors of monuments, gardens, and fountains of National Heritage. Palaces, monasteries, cathedrals, and other buildings linked to the history of the Spanish Royal Household have also served as sources of inspiration.

As the central part of the event, Infanta Elena was in charge of presenting diplomas to the outstanding young artists. For the occasion, she chose an elegant and modern outfit consisting of pleated palazzo pants down to the ankles (pleated palazzo pants down to the ankles: pantalones palazzo plisados hasta los tobillos).

This choice, as expected, did not go unnoticed at all, among other things, because of the design of her pants. This piece stood out for its striking print, while on top she wore a navy blue jersey with the sleeves rolled up to the elbows.

Infanta Elena completed her look with classic heeled shoes, a watch, and several bracelets, although the brooch was the detail that attracted the most attention. Round in shape, with vichy checks and a yellow feather, it is a very special accessory.

Everything suggests that Infanta Elena wanted to dedicate a nod to her mother, Queen Sofía, known for her great fondness for these jewelry pieces.
