Charles III can no longer hide the secret: Buckingham Palace is reeling

The British Crown is collapsing like a house of cards and the King of England can no longer hide it

The relationship between King Charles III and Prince Harry has always been a topic of speculation and controversy. Recently, the Duke of Sussex has spoken openly about the lack of communication with his father, Charles III, a situation that has intensified over the past few years. However, this estrangement is not something recent: Harry has acknowledged that his bond with Charles III has always been tense, long before his departure from the royal family.

The distant relationship between father and son

In his book Spare, Harry addressed delicate topics about his relationship with his father, including speculations about his paternity. During his childhood, the press speculated that Harry's real father might have been Major James Hewitt, a former lover of Princess Diana of Wales. This constant uncertainty about his origin was a topic that marked Prince Harry, who explained that he never received a definitive clarification from his father about those rumors.

Paternity and conflicting family memories

Prince Harry recounted how, despite the rumors, his father never spoke directly to him about the speculations. In his book, Harry recalled an imagined scene, according to his words, in which his father supposedly clarified that Major Hewitt was not his real father. "A vivid, moving, emotional, and completely invented scene," Harry commented, making it clear that there hadn't been a sincere conversation about it.

In his account, the prince also remembered how his father mocked the topic, even with sarcastic comments. "Who knows if I'm really the Prince of Wales? Who knows if I'm your real father? Maybe your real father is in Broadmoor, dear!" Prince Harry said. Thus, the Duke recalled the inappropriate jokes that, despite being funny to Charles III, reflected how distant their relationship was.

The desire for reconciliation and the uncertainty of the future

Despite these memories, Harry has expressed his desires for rapprochement in an interview with the BBC: "I would love to reconcile with my family; there's no point in fighting anymore." However, Harry was clear in pointing out that any attempt at reconciliation would depend on his family's willingness. "If they don't want it, it's entirely their business," he added, making it clear that, although his desire to approach and heal the relationship is genuine, he can't force the process.

This new chapter in the Sussexes' relationship with the royal family remains uncertain, but what is evident is that Harry has tried to build bridges. Meanwhile, the estrangement with his father seems to be an open wound, fueled by decades of lack of communication and family complications.
