Albert of Monaco breaks the silence and tells the truth about his wife Charlene

Albert of Monaco reveals something no one expected about his wife, Princess Charlene

With the twentieth anniversary of his reign approaching, Albert of Monaco has decided to share uncommon details about his private life. In a recent interview with the local media Monaco Matin, the Monegasque prince spoke openly about both his institutional duties and his role as a father and husband. According to him, these are the two aspects that bring him the greatest happiness.

July will mark twenty years since he succeeded his father, Prince Rainier III, in 2005. This is a date that the Principality will celebrate with events like the Monaco Grand Prix and the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron.

Daily life and family energy

In this context of celebrations, Prince Albert wanted to show his daily routine. "To keep myself in shape, one of the first things I do in the morning is a bit of stretching," he explained. Additionally, when time allows, he enjoys swimming a few laps in the pool between his commitments.

Beyond his schedule, Albert highlighted that his true source of energy comes from his home. "The kids also help me keep young, you have to keep up with them!" he said with a smile, referring to his children Jacques and Gabriella, who recently celebrated their first communion. About his marriage to Charlene, a topic rarely discussed in public, Albert stated sincerely: "This is the most important thing," highlighting his family as his greatest pride.

Charlene of Monaco and her charitable projects

Princess Charlene has also taken on a more visible role in the institutional sphere. During the same interview, she spoke about her current priorities and her foundation focused on the prevention of drowning and traffic accidents. "We are very enthusiastic about the foundation and we have the ambition to keep growing and consolidating our development," she commented.

In addition to her foundation, Charlene presides over the Monaco Society for the Protection of Animals and organizes the Sainte-Dévote rugby tournament. This event brought together delegations from 24 countries this year, showing her commitment to sports and the international community. The princess will participate in the anniversary events of Albert's reign, including the Formula 1 Grand Prix.

On July 19, the princely family will gather with the citizens in the Palace Square to celebrate with their people. Between international commitments and official acts, Albert of Monaco is preparing a commemoration that mixes institutionality and family life. For the prince, the most valuable moments are the simple ones, with his wife and children, beyond the grand events.
