Car Seat Recycling and Its Benefits
Starting May 1, Target offers an attractive 20% discount on the purchase of a new car seat, stroller, or essential childcare products. Target Circle members who turn in a used car seat will receive a coupon they can use on their purchases. This coupon is valid until May 24, 2025, and can be combined with other store promotions, maximizing savings.

To participate, customers simply need to bring their old car seat to any participating Target store and deposit it in the designated bins. Then, they must scan the QR code found on the bin. This process is quick and easy, and with the coupon, users can enjoy significant discounts on a wide variety of products.
Environmental Impact and Target's Commitment
Besides economic savings, Target's car seat recycling program has a significant environmental impact. Since its launch in 2016, the chain has managed to recycle more than 50 million lbs. (22.7 million kg) of materials from old car seats. These materials are transformed into useful products, such as plastic pallets and construction materials.
