Costco Adjusts Its Hours to Offer Exclusive Benefits to Executive Members in the United States
Warehouse chains and supermarkets keep adjusting their strategies to better satisfy consumers. Costco, known for its membership model and competitive prices, has been one of the leaders in the U.S. market. Over the years, it has kept a strong focus on customer loyalty and on offering exclusive benefits for those who join its membership program.
While other chains have also adopted similar strategies, Costco has stood out for its ability to innovate. In order to adapt to shoppers' demands, the company has decided to offer an additional benefit for those who are part of its Executive Membership. This change aims to improve the shopping experience by combining convenience and exclusivity.

New Advantages for Executive Members
Starting Monday, June 30, Costco Executive Members will enjoy one hour of early access to the store. This measure will allow members to enter stores starting at 9:00 a.m. during the week, instead of waiting until 10:00 a.m., as is usually the case. This new advantage will also be available on Sundays and Saturdays, when stores normally open at 9:30 a.m. (instead of 9:30 a.m.).
The strategy seeks not only to provide greater comfort and convenience to Executive Members, but also to ease congestion during peak hours. With the growing demand for more flexible shopping options, Costco tries to offer a more efficient shopping experience. This measure positions Costco as an even more attractive option for those who want to avoid crowds and shop more quickly.

Additional Benefits of Executive Membership
Costco's Executive Membership has an annual cost of $130, compared to $65 for the standard Gold Star membership. Although the price increased in September 2024, the benefits offered by this higher membership make up for the difference. In addition to early access, Executive Members receive a 2% cash rebate on eligible purchases, which can add up to $1,250 per year.
Members also get exclusive access to promotions and additional discounts, which makes Executive Membership an attractive option for those who shop frequently at Costco. These benefits allow members to optimize their purchases and make the most of their investment, making shopping at Costco even more advantageous.
