McDonald's confirms the best news in the United States: They're back
The desired decision by McDonald's that responds to their fans' requests and worries the competition
McDonald's has been, for decades, a benchmark in the fast food industry, especially in the United States. With an unmatched ability to adapt to market demands, the chain has kept its popularity constantly growing. Innovations in its menu have been key to keeping the attention of its millions of customers around the world.
However, like any major company, it has also faced its challenges. With growing competition from other chains and changing preferences, McDonald's has had to adjust its offerings, sometimes sacrificing products that turned out to be very beloved by its fan base.

The Return of the Snack Wrap: Excites
After almost 10 years, McDonald's has confirmed the return of one of its most desired products: the Snack Wrap. Originally removed in 2016, this item has kept its popularity, generating numerous requests from consumers for it to become available again. Joe Erlinger, President of McDonald's USA, told ABC News that "I get a lot of emails about this product."
The return of the Snack Wrap not only responds to popular demand, but also to strategic reasons. McDonald's has identified an opportunity to bring back this product, whose crispy chicken formula, shredded lettuce, and ranch sauce have been among the favorites. Starting July 10, 2025, the Snack Wrap will return to all 13,657 McDonald's restaurants across the United States.

A Competitive Landscape
The return of the Snack Wrap also responds to the fierce competition McDonald's faces in the market. Other chains, such as Popeyes, Taco Bell, and Jack in the Box, have launched their own chicken wraps, raising the rivalry in this segment. Taco Bell, for example, introduced its Crispy Chicken Tacos for $2.79, while Popeyes launched its Chicken Wrap for $3.99.
Despite this competition, McDonald's trusts it remains a leader in fast food. In addition to the return of the Snack Wrap, McDonald's has also introduced new offerings, such as a new McFlurry flavor and innovative toys for Happy Meals, keeping consumers alert.
This return not only represents a response to a fan request. It is also a reaffirmation that McDonald's remains relevant and competitive in today's world.
