Kroger Wants to be the New Costco and Will Make a Key Change in the United States
The American chain boosts its expansion in the country with something completely unheard of
In an increasingly competitive market, retail chains in the United States face the constant challenge of adapting to consumer changes. With rivals like Walmart, Target, or Costco making strong moves, innovating has become a necessity for survival. Now, Kroger is preparing to revolutionize the aisles of its stores in the United States.
With a clear vision of what their customers are looking for, the retail chain has announced the addition of more than 900 new products throughout 2025. All under the umbrella of their own brands: Kroger®, Private Selection®, and Simple Truth®.

Flavor, Trend, and Good Price
The idea behind this renewal is simple: to offer modern products with unique flavors and affordable prices. According to Kroger, the goal is for the new items not only to fit the family budget but also to earn a permanent place in consumers' pantries.
Among the first additions already available are the Kroger® Kettle Style Tortilla Chips. These crunchy snacks come in two versions: traditional and Hatch Chile, the latter for those who enjoy a spicy touch. An ideal option to pair with dips and enjoy at gatherings.
Healthy and Easy Options for Everyday
Another novelty is the restaurant-style dressing from the Kroger® brand. Designed for those who prefer to prepare salads at home without giving up the flavor of a gourmet dish. This product aims to make life easier without emptying the wallet.

For those looking to reduce caffeine without giving up the tea routine, Simple Truth Organic® Instant Mushroom Tea arrives. Available in Black and Chai flavors, this alternative combines health benefits with the comforting taste of a hot beverage.
Kroger also thought of those in a hurry in the mornings: the new muffins from Private Selection® offer a delicious option without prior preparation. They are available in flavors like Banana Bread, Blueberry Lemon, Coffee Cake, and Triple Chocolate. The chain also launched Private Selection® salad kits, designed for those who want a quick, nutritious, and tasty lunch.
More Variety, Same Commitment
Among the varieties are combinations like Cheddar Truffle, Cherry Bacon Cheddar, and Asian Sesame Ginger. Each kit comes ready to serve, with fresh vegetables, tasty dressings, and gourmet touches. It's an ideal alternative for those who don't have time to cook but don't want to sacrifice quality.
All these new products launched are already available in Kroger stores, through their website, or via their mobile app, both for delivery and pickup.
