Every May 28, International Hamburger Day is celebrated, a date that has won over millions of people around the world. Although its origin is unclear, some historians point to a German resident who served the first hamburger in the United States around 1900. For this reason, several chains in the United States, including Burger King, offer special promotions to celebrate the day.
Burger King and Their Special Offers
Burger King has launched a series of promotions during National Hamburger Month for members of their Royal Perks program. On May 27, they gave away an Original Chicken Sandwich with a minimum purchase of one dollar. For May 28, the official hamburger day, they are giving away a hamburger under the same condition.
Additionally, Royal Perks users can get hamburgers for 125 crowns, half the normal price, and this offer lasts until the end of the month. To access these promotions, it is necessary to order in advance through the app or on their website, activating the promotion before placing the order.

Wendy’s is also joining the celebrations with an offer from May 28 to June 1: a Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger for just one cent with any purchase, through their app. This promotion is part of the "100 Days of Savings": from June 7 and every Saturday until July 26, they will offer a Dave’s Single for one dollar.
The delivery platform Grubhub+ keeps their Memorial Day Munchies offers until June 1, with discounts of up to 25% on minimum orders at chains like Arby’s and Sonic Drive-In. The promotion extends until June 8, and includes other brands like Shake Shack, Taco Bell, and Starbucks.

Other chains like Bad Daddy’s, Buffalo’s Cafe, and Buffalo Wild Wings have exclusive promotions for May 28. For example, Bad Daddy’s offers their Bacon Cheeseburger on Steroids for 10 dollars. Buffalo Wild Wings sells hamburgers at half price with the code GOBURGER, valid only for takeout or delivery.
